Sino-U.S. Forum for Marine Policy Concludes in Shanghai


  The two-day long Sino-U.S. Forum for Marine Policy, which was themed by "the 600th anniversary of Zhenghe's Occidental Navigation", came to an successful end in Shanghai on July 10, establishing an ideal platform for the international exchange and cooperation in marine area.

  Mr. Sun Zhihui, the deputy administrator of State Oceanic Administration, and Mr. Rechard, the assistant director of NOAA of the United States attended this opening ceremony on behalf of the two organizations and made their remarks on this event; and some high ranking officials from the United States, Russia, Japan, Republic of Korea and Indonesia, as well as some experts and academicians from a few of universities also took part in it under the invitation.
