Nantong Ranks First in the Province
for Its Collection of Sea Area Use Fee
| On the propagating meeting of "Jiangsu Provincial Regulations for Marine Area Use" fourteen marine-related entities obtained their sea area use certificates from the leaders of the local people's congress and the people' government. Mr. Ge Haixiang, the director of Nantong Municipal Bureau of Ocean and Fishery told the correspondents that sea area use rights' determination totaling 140 thousand mu of sea area in the first half of this year, with the total area of more than 1 million mu. These achievements attribute to the consolidation of the city's comprehensive management of the sea area. This meeting initiated the propagating month of the marine laws and regulations. Viewing it as an opportunity, a further boost of the city's marine management is going to be conducted. |
