| กกกก Deviations are defined here as the difference between the mean sea level for the given month and the 1993 to 1995 mean sea level at that station. This averaging period is chosen to correspond with various TOPEX/Poseidon products. Sea level has been corrected for the inverse barometer effect using atmospheric pressure obtained from the Climate Analysis Center. |

| The deviation value at each tide gauge location is the monthly mean sea level minus the 1993 to 2001 mean sea level. Sea level has been corrected for the inverse barometer effect using atmospheric pressure obtained from the Climate Analysis Center. Contour lines are obtained from the near-real time Topex altimeter analysis. The altimeter data are processed in the same manner as the tide gauge data. |

| Anomalies are defined here as the difference between the
mean sea level for the given month and the mean annual cycle, specified as the long-term
average sea level for that month at that station. The typical averaging period for the
annual cycle is 1993 to 2001. Sea level has been corrected for the inverse barometer
effect using atmospheric pressure obtained from the Climate Analysis Center. Contour lines
are obtained from the near-real time Topex altimeter analysis. |
